Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 24, 1991 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Rosella Rogers

Rosella Helen Rogers, the daughter of Anton and Delhia (Morvick) Lorence, was born in Jewell County, Kansas, on June 23, 1914, and passed away at Hastings, Nebraska, on January 21, 1991, at the age of 76 years, 6 months, and 28 days.

She grew up and graduated from High School at Esbon, Kansas.

On August 18, 1935, she was united in marriage to Arden Rogers, at Smith Center, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1969. They lived in Jewell County, Kansas, until 1943, when they moved to Aurora. In 1973, she moved to Hastings, where she made her home with her daughter Gailya Fobben.

Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Gene and William Francis; one infant daughter Sharon, and one sister Frances McGinnis.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Dean of Muscatine, Iowa, and John of Hastings; 3 daughters, Gailya Fobben, of Hastings, Jolene Newman of Grand Island, and Sue Ousey of Aurora; 2 brothers, Anton Lorence of Esbon, Kansas, and Raymond Lorence of Rogers, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
