Elsie Ross

Elsie Ross, age 93, of Harvard died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday at the Harvard U.C.C. Rev. Stan Crawford will officiate. Interment will be in the Harvard Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. OBITUARY: ELSIE ROSS

Elsie Ross, the daughter of Adam and Louise (Ross) Ross, was born in Harvard, Nebraska on May 2, 1908 and died in Grand Island, Nebraska on June 19, 2001, at the age of 93 years.

She grew up and went to school at Harvard. Elsie lived with her parents in Harvard. After her parents passed away she stayed on in the family home. She loved to sew and do embroidery, over the years she made doll clothes and barbie clothes for family members.

Elsie was a member of the Harvard U.C.C. for over 50 years.

Her parents, two sisters, Abbie Pulliam and Pauline Brown, and one brother, Floyd Ross, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Croft of Arlington, Texas; sister-in-law, Verna Ross and many nieces and nephews.
