Doninicek Roublicek

Dominicek Roublicek, age 82, passed away Monday, April 9, 2001, at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Mr. Roublicek was cremated and memorial services will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island at a date to be announced later. Higby Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

OBITUARY: DOMINICEK ROUBLICEK

Dominicek was born on June 21, 1919, at Valparaiso, Nebraska, to Dominick and Mary Mucklivch Roublicek. He attended school in Valparaiso and in his younger years, worked on the family farm. He spent several years at the State Home in Beatrice before coming to Grand Island, where he was employed at the Veterans Home.

After he retired, he continued to live in Grand Island until he moved to the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Dominicek enjoyed gardening, cooking, riding his bicycle and spending time at the Grand Generation Center.

He was a member of the Catholic faith and attended Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island and at the time of his death was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers.
