Linda Sabata

Linda Sabata, age 62, of Kronborg, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 28th at St. John Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. OBITUARY: LINDA SABATA

Linda J. Sabata, the daughter of Joe Baer and Cora (Woods) Baer, was born in Bellwood, Nebraska on March 17, 1945 and died in Kronborg, Nebraska on July 25, 2007, at the age of 62.

She grew up in Bellwood, where she attended school through the sixth grade. Linda completed the rest of her education in Columbus.

Linda was united in marriage to Raymond Sabata on January 25, 1963 at Kearney. After raising their three children, Linda went on to work as a waitress in several of the cafes in Hampton.

Linda enjoyed camping and working in her flower gardens. She also loved spending time with her family. Linda enjoyed the years that Raymond was car racing. She also liked getting together with her high school friends once a month.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Janice Kay Baer and half-brother, Elmer Baer

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Raymond Sabata of Kronborg; three children, Randy (Donna) Sabata of Aurora, Debbie (Bert) Smith of Marquette and Bill (Michelle) Sabata of Aurora; 9 grandchildren, Eric, Adam, Jeremy, Josh, Kelsey, Tanya, Bobby, Allie and Sami and two great-grandchildren, Jazmin and Trey. She is also survived by three sisters, Marge (Ken) Booth of Pacific Junction, Iowa, Beverly Kallenbach and Rita Grohmann; a brother, Joe (Louise) Baer, Jr. of Eldon, Iowa and Darla Jennings of Fremont.
