Clarence Sands

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 8, 1988 at the Monroe Evangelical Free Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Clarence Sands

Clarence P. Sands, the son of George and Hilma (Johnson) Sands, was born at Marquette, Nebraska, on January 24, 1903, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 5, 1988, at the age of 86 years and 11 days.

He attended District #47 Country School, and attended Grand Island Business College.

On November 12, 1938, he was united in marriage to Mildred Johnson at Stromsburg, Nebraska.

Clarence resided on the family farm northwest of Aurora for 75 years, and retired and moved to Aurora in 1977.

He was a member of the Monroe Evangelical Free Church.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Edna Peterson Dahlstedt.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Mildred; a son Larry and his wife Nancy of Marquette; a son Robert and his wife Susie of Aurora; 5 grandchildren, Tera, Ryan, Michelle, John and Michael; a brother Carl O. Sands of Cary, Illinois; a sister Ruby A. Titman of Aurora; 3 nieces and many other relatives and friends.
