Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 28, 1992 at Higby Mortuary. Intermetn was held in the Richland Cemetery in Marquette, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Cora Schlegel

Cora May Schlegel, the daughter of Edward and Mathilda (Kuhlmeier) Schlegel, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 11, 1900, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 24, 1992, at the age of 92 years, and 5 days. She had celebrated her 92nd birthday on September 11th, 1992.

She grew up near Marquette, and attended Pine Knott School District #63. Most of her life was spent on the farm near Marquette, until she moved into Aurora in 1974.

Cora was a member of the Marquette United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Elmer; and 4 sisters, Sadie Calrson, Ida Rodabaugh, Amelia Schlegel, and Lydia Schlegel, and one niece Bertha (Rodabaugh) Seier.

She is survived by one nephew Emery Rodabaugh, and 2 nieces, Joan Hoden and Esther Funk; 7 great nephews, 5 great nieces; 9 great great nephews and 10 great great nieces.
