Pearl SchultzFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 29, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Cedarview Cemetery in Doniphan, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Pearl Schultz Pearl Schultz, the daughter of Clarence and Carrie (Rollstin) Elwick, was born in Hall County, Nebraska, on February 20, 1909, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 25, 1997, at the age of 88 years, 3 months, and 5 days. She grew up in the Doniphan area, where she attended country school and Doniphan High School. On May 7, 1928, she was united in marriage to Albert Schultz, at Grand Island. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1985. They lived on farms in the Trumbull, Doniphan, and Giltner areas. In 1967, they moved into Aurora, and for the past several years she had resided at the Memorial Care Center at the Memorial Hospital, and since March she had lived at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora. Pearl was a member of the Hamilton County Extension Clubs for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother Harold Elwick, a sister Dorothy Elwick, and infant daughter, a daughter-in-law Ruth Schultz, an infant grand daughter, and a great grand daughter. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Arthur of Donna, Texas, and Bill of Grand Island; 2 daughters, Phyllis Vogler of Sidney, and Ruth Sallinger of Grand Island; one sister Bernina Boltz of Doniphan; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. |
