Florence Seiver

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 14, 1990, at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Richland Cemetery north of Marquette.

OBITUARY: Florence Victoria Seiver

Florence Victoria Karr Seiver was born in Marquette, Nebraska,m on August 16, 1898. Her parents were Frank Willis Karr and Melda Douglas Karr. She died July 11, 1990, in Valhave Nursing Center in Valley, Nebraska at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 25 days, where she had resided since May of 1989. Florence joined the United Brethern Church in Marquette in 1913 when she was fourteen years old. She graduated from Marquette High School in 1915. On August 16, 1915, she was united in marriage to Thomas Wesley Seiver also of Marquette.

They lived in Marquette until February of 1969, at the time of Thomas Seiver’s death. Florence lied in Aurora, Nebraska from 1969 until 1975 at which time she moved to Longmont, Colorado. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in both cities.

Her parents, husband, a daughter, Louisa Florence, two sons, Frank Wilson Seiver and Thomas Wesley Seiver, one brother Glen Karr, two sisters, Bessie Power and Edna Wicker all preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Tudor and her husband, David, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mrs. Virginia Wilson and her husband, Roy, of Omaha, Nebraska; and Mrs. Donna Jorgensen and her husband, Roger, of Longmont, Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
