Memorial Services were held 3:00 P.M., Monday, July 19, 1993 at the Hearthstone Chapel in York, Nebraska. Inurnment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Aytchie Shepard

Aytchie W. Shepard, the daughter of Clemons and Madge (Ribble) Wade, was born in Texas, and died at York, Nebraska, on July 15, 1993.

She grew up and attended school in Texas and Oklahoma, and then attended Southwestern Junior College, in Keene, Texas, and took numerous post-graduate courses at the University of California at San Diego. She began teaching in 1941, in Texas, and in 1943 she moved to California where she continued teaching until her retirement at age 65.

She and her daughter traveled together after her retirement. In 1988 she entered the Hearthstone in York, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughter, Maxine Haworth and her husband John of Aurora; 2 sisters, Del Smith of Ramona, California, and Temperance Looper of Los Angeles, California; one brother Clifford Wade of Los Angeles and nieces and nephews.
