Funeral Services were held 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 10, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Litta Sidel

Litta L. Sidel, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Stuan) Lundy, was born at Lincoln, Illinois, on Augusts 22, 1914, and died at her home in Aurora, Nebraska, on October 8, 1997, at the age of 83 years, 1 month, and 6 days.

In 1920, the family moved to Farwell, Nebraska, and she graduated from St. Paul High School.

On June 21, 1934, she was united in marriage to John Sidel, Jr., at Grand Island, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1978. They farmed in the Farwell and St. Paul area most of their lifetime, and in 1958, they moved to Aurora, where they operated a gas station and café for several years.

Litta was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Charles Robert, 2 daughters Barbara Ann and Loretta, 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers, and a special friend Clifford Beacom.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son, Marvin Sr., of Richland, Nebraska; one daughter Norma Jean Greipenstroh of Nebraska City; one brother Willard Lundy; 2 sisters, Vera Krull and Neva Holmes, 6 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
