OBITUARY: DOROTHY SIEGL

Dorothy M. Siegl, the daughter of Andrew Benson and Emma (Akerson) Anderson, was born in Aurora, Nebraska on February 12, 1917 and died on October 30, 2001, at the age of 86.

She spent her early life in Aurora and moved to Chicago shortly after graduating from Aurora High School. Dorothy lived in Chicago thereafter, where she was a long distance operator for the Bell Company for 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, other than one sister, Marilyn Marwick.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard Siegl of Chicago; daughter, Carol of Raleigh-Durham; granddaughter, Wendy of Lake Tahoe and a great-granddaughter, Morgan.
