Ralph Snoberger

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 17, 1987 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Ralph C. Snoberger

Ralph Clark Snoberger, the son of Harry and Edna (Clark) Snoberger, was born on a farm north of Hastings, Nebraska, in Adams County, on May 12, 1902, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 14, 1987, at the age of 85 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

On August 12, 1925, he was united in marriage to Helen Meyer, at her parents home south of Aurora. She preceded him in death on April 12, 1981.

Ralph farmed south of Aurora, and then moved to Phillips vicinity, where he farmed for several years, and later moved to a farm one mile north of Aurora. In 1975 he and Helen moved into Aurora.

He was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church. In the late 1940’s he served on the Phillips School Board, and he had also served on the Hamilton County Extension Board.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Lorne, and 2 sisters, Clara Goldenstein and Bernice DeBarra.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his son, Glade of Aurora; his daughter Sharon Nissen of McKinney, Texas; 2 brothers, Don and Claude, both of Aurora; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and close friends.
