Donna Spangler

Donna Spangler, age 70, of Marquette died Monday morning, October 1, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday at the Richland Cemetery near Marquette. Rev. James Garfield will officiate. There will only be private family visitation. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through the mortuary website at higbymortuary.com.

OBITUARY: DONNA SPANGLER

Donna Jean Eastman Spangler, the daughter of John Richard and Beaulah Pearl (Rhodes) Eastman, was born at Waterloo, Nebraska on June 7, 1931 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on October 1, 2001, at the age of 70 years.

She grew up in Giltner and attended Giltner High School.

Donna was united in marriage to Dale Spangler on September 30, 1973 at Aurora. She worked at several nursing homes in the area over the years.

She is preceded in death by parents, sons, James and Robert, a daughter, Sheryl Heidloff, four grandchildren, Shaun, Rhoda, Sara and Corinna, and also a brother, Raymond Eastman and a sister, Ruth.

Donna is survived by her husband, Dale of Marquette; children, Richard Archer and his wife Kim, Donald Archer and his wife Christy, Jerry Archer, Lillian Crawford and her husband Monte, Audrey Gerdes and her husband Steve, Ron Archer and Betty, all of Marquette, Kenneth Archer and his wife Lisa, Sherri Taylor and her husband David all of Aurora, Evonne King of North Carolina, Michael Archer and his wife Kathy of Georgia, Danny Ray Archer and his wife Barbara of Colorado, David Archer of Lincoln, Susan Toscani and her husband Russ and Sheila Deevers and her husband Kevin all of California; 36 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Eastman of Washington and Larry Eastman of Grand Island and nieces and nephews.
