She has been a constant support for her husband in his church callings as well. She loved her beautiful home in the country and devoted her skills in decorating, and many hobbies and crafts, among which are framed cross-stitch creations she leaves for her family to treasure. Since their children have all been in school, Stacie has been employed with various businesses and at the time of the onset of her illness she was employed at Principal Financial Group of Grand Island. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Ronald, her six children, Nial, Erik, LeAnna, Leigha, Evan and Larisa. Nial is presently attending Brigham Young University Idaho, at Rexburg; Erik is serving a two-year mission for the LDS Church in the Washington-Kennewick mission, and has been in Yakima, WA for his first nearly six months. The younger children are attending the schools in Aurora. Other survivors are her parents Donald and Joyce Depner of Choteau, MT, her mother-in-law DeNiece Spencer of Aurora, a sister-in-law and nephew Terese and Lars Nielsen of Temple City, CA, a brother-in-law Terence Spencer of Milford, NE, other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her only sister, Sonja during their childhood, also her father-in-law Robert Spencer. The Spencer family would like to express their deep appreciation to the many doctors, nurses and other medical personnel who have rendered such loving and compassionate care for Stacie during her long illness. And to the many loved ones; friends and associates for their monumental acts of service, assistance and support in their times of need. |
