Naomi SteeleFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 24, 1987 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Naomi Steele Naomi Steele, the daughter of William and Kizzie (Abbott) Scott, was born at Chapman, Nebraska, on April 17, 1899, and passed away at San Diego, California, on December 17, 1987, at the age of 88 years and 8 months. She grew up in the Chapman vicinity. On March 1, 1920, she married John Steele at Seward. They lived in Aurora, later in Kansas City, St. Louis, LaMesa, California and Sun City, Arizona. Her husband died May 1, 1977. After his death she moved to San Diego. Survivors include 5 sisters, Iola Scott, and Alice Wilson, both of LaMesa, California, Gladys Bell of San Diego, California, Etta Scott of Grand Island and Wilma Tanner of Sterling, Colorado, and nieces and nephews. |
