Grace SteenburgGraveside Services were held 11:30 A.M., Friday, September 27, 1985 at the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Grace Steenburg Grace Geneviece Steenburg, the daughter of Robert Gilbert and Clara (Rogers) Hillis, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 3, 1893, and passed away at Omaha, Nebraska, on September 24, 1985 at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 2 days. She grew up in Aurora and then moved to Omaha in 1971. Grace graduated from St. Lukes Hospital in Chicago with a R.N. Degree. She was united in marriage to Dr. Edmund Kenneth Steenburg on September 27, 1922. He passed away on January 3, 1972. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son, Dr. Richard W. (Julie) Steenburg of Omaha; daughter, Dr. Esabelle Collins of Brunswick, Georgia; five grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. |
