Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 22, 1987 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Fullerton Cemetery in Fullerton, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Joseph V. Tallon

Joseph Verle “Jack” Tallon, the son of William and Iva (Schlitt) Tallon, was born at Silver Creek, Nebraska, on May 21, 1907, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 19, 1987, at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 28 days.

As a small child the family moved to Fullerton, Nebraska, where he graduated from high school.

On January 28, 1930, he was united in holy matrimony to Elizabeth Krick at Spalding, Nebraska.

They farmed in the Fullerton area for 25 years. In 1965, they moved to Aurora, where Jack was the fertilizer manager for the Aurora Co-op until he retired in 1972.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora, and the Eagles Club in Fullerton.

Those who preceded him in death were his parents, one son Thomas, and 2 brothers, Donald and Pat.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Liz; one brother Paul Ed Tallon of Omaha; and one granddaughter, Angela Tallon of Denver, Colorado; and many other relatives and close friends.
