Edith ThompsonFuneral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 14, 1984 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Edith Thompson Edith Thompson, the daughter of Samuel and Malinda (Leonard) Thompson, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 6, 1888, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 12, 1984, at the age of 95 years, 6 months and 6 days. She attended school in Aurora and after completing school she moved to Omaha where she was employed for over 50 years in the Alteration Department of Kilpatick’s Department Store. She returned home about two years ago and entered the Hamilton Manor. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, John, Paul and Clive. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her sister, Mrs. Eva Smith of Billings, Montana and several nieces and nephews. |
