Funeral Services were held 9:30 A.M., Friday, March 3, 1995 at the Higby Mortuary Chapel. Interment was held at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Hazel Timblin

Hazel M Timblin, the daughter of Carl and Matilda (Boysen) Hanner, was born in Kearney County, Nebraska, on May 31, 1932, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on March 1, 1995, at the age of 62 years and 9 months.

She grew up in Kearney, where she received her education and graduated from Kearney High School.

On August 19, 1957, she was united in marriage to Wilburn Timblin at Kearney. He preceded her in death in 1989. They lived in Alliance for a time, then several other places, before moving to Grand Island. For the past several years she has resided in a nursing home in Aurora.

She attended the Assembly of God Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, on son David, and a sister Carol Hanner.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Sam Timblin of Lincoln, one brother Paul Hanner of Beatrice, 3 sisters, Lillian King of Maysville, Oklahoma, Dorothy Powell of Greely, Colorado, and Mary Stevens of Grand Island.
