Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 9, 1987 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Betty Tournor

Betty Jane Tournor, the daughter of Arthur and Etta (Edmonds) Hinckley, was born at Bradford, Pennsylvania, on November 19, 1922, and passed away at Omaha, Nebraska, on September 5, 1987, at the age of 64 years, 9 months, and 16 days.

She grew up and attended school in Pennsylvania. On July 4, 1942, she was united in marriage to Eugene Tournor at Hornell, New York.

They moved to Aurora in 1963, and in 1969, they moved to North Platte, and later lived in other places. For the past 3 years they have resided in Columbus.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Gene, 6 sons, Robert Good of Denver, Colorado, Thomas Good of Australia, Larry Tournor of Aurora, Mike Tournor of Grand Island, Charles Tournor of Minden and Gary Tournor of Fremont. 5 daughters, Nancy Cornell of Claymer, New York, Sharon Aden of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Jackie Schwanz of Gothenburg, Rea Harms of Gothenburg, and Debby Luff, of Overton. 2 brothers, George Hinckley of Galeton, Pennsylvania and Kenneth Hinckley of Albion, New York; one sister, Verda Douglas of Galeton, Pennsylvania; 31 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
