Keith Traudt

Keith Traudt, age 18, of Aurora, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in a car accident.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 28th at Mennonite Brethren Church in Henderson. Rev. Dale Coates will officiate. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in York. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 – 8 at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. The family will greet friends from 5 – 7. Obituary: KEITH TRAUDT

Keith Allen Traudt, the son of Alan and Patsy (Cool) Traudt, was born on August 24, 1989 in Henderson, Nebraska and passed away March 25, 2008 at the age of 18.

Keith was a lucky boy to be raised by two sets of parents, the second being his grandparents, Jerry and Marcia Traudt.

Keith was a senior at Heartland Community High School. He was very involved in FFA and anything to do with agriculture. He loved horses and bull riding. Keith was currently working at the Circle 5 and had worked at Bamesberger Welding before that.

Keith was a member of the United Methodist Church in Harvard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his birth parents, Alan and Patsy Traudt of Henderson; grandparents who raised him, Jerry and Marcia Traudt of Aurora; brother, Darrell Traudt of Henderson; sister, Karla Cool of Henderson; grandmother, Letha (Cool) Woodward of Calloway;aunt, Michelle Holtzen of Aurora and Brenda Shotkoski of Grand Island; uncle, Charles Cool of Dannebrog; cousins, Austin Holtzen, Alicia Hock, Marya Shotkoski and Kendra Shotkoski as well as many other family members, friends and classmates.
