Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 26, 1996 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Russell Traudt

Russell J. Traudt, the son of Peter E. and Mildred (George) Traudt, was born at Stockham, Nebraska, on August 6. 1936, and died at Harvard, Nebraska, on February 23, 1996, at the age of 59 years, 5 months, and 17 days.

He grew up near Stockham and attended school northwest of Stockham, and Aurora High School. He farmed with his father for many years.

Russell was physically challenged, and for the past several years he has resided in nursing homes, following the death of his parents.

He was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his sister LaVonne Taylor and her husband Jim of Harvard; a nephew John Taylor and his wife Laura, 2 grand-nieces, Michelle and Kelli, and a grandnephew Ray, all of Taylor, Nebraska, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
