Margaret Troester

Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, February 20, 1987 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Salem Cemetery southwest of Hampton.

OBITUARY: Margaret Troester

Margaret Troester, the daughter of John and Margaret (Wagner) Bindewald, was born at St. Francis, Kansas, on November 17, 1889, and passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 13, 1987, at the age of 97 years, 2 months, and 26 days.

She moved to Nebraska as a small child, and lived at McCook, then moved to Hamilton County, where she grew up and attended school.

On December 28, 1911, she was united in marriage to William H. Troester. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1953.

After their marriage they farmed southeast of Aurora, and in 1946 they retired and moved to Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are one son Paul of Hampton; 4 daughters, Alice Holtmeier of Lincoln, Marguerite Ludwig of Bremerton, Washington, Louella Otto of Lincoln, and Willa Dee Thoen of Bellvue, Washington. 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
