Esther TrompkeGraveside Services were held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 19, 1992 at the Central City Cemetery in Central City, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Esther Trompke Esther Louise Trompke, the daughter of Clifford and Julia (Vincent) Sample, was born at Ord, Nebraska, on December 14, 1931, and died at Grand Island, Nebraska, on November 17, 1992, at the age of 60 years, 11 months, and 3 days. She grew up in the North Loup, Nebraska, area, and attended Loup City High School. On April 14, 1951, she married Ronald Trompke at Loup City, Nebraska. In 1954 they moved to Central City, and in 1963 they moved to Aurora, where they have since resided. In April of 1984, Esther entered Memorial Community Care due to ill health, and lived there at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her father, 3 infant children, and one grandson. Esther was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald of Aurora, her mother Julia Sample of Central City, one son Michael Trompke of Harrisburg, NE; 4 daughters, Pat McKnight of Shambaugh, Iowa, Alice Strong of Gamaliel, Kentucky, Barb Foster of Phillips, and Bev Brigmon of Bee; 1 brother, Jim Sample of Aurora; 2 sisters, Sue Burkhardt of St. Paul and Mary Ann Earl of Aurora; 10 grandchildren and other relatives and friends. |
