Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 1984 at the Greeley United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Greeley Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Gerald Vanosdall

Gerald Alvin Vanosdall, the son of George H. and Clara M. (Andersen) Vanosdall, was born April 12, 1940, at Greeley, Nebraska, and passed away suddenly June 27, 1984, at Aurora, Nebraska, at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 15 days.

His childhood was spent near Greeley, where he attended country schools.

On April 18, 1958, he was united in marriage to Sharon Dee Albin, at Fort Carson, Colorado.

He joined the services, and spent 1 ½ years in the U.S. Army, and then went to work for the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, and was presently employed in Central City, Nebraska at the time of his death. The family resided in Marquette, Nebraska.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, one son, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

Those who survive to cherish his memory are his wife Sharon; 2 sons, Marvin of Omaha and Mark at home; daughters, Mary Sundberg and Michelle Logue, both of Aurora; four brothers, Ralph of Omaha, Eugene of Naples, Florida, Lyle of Norfolk and Lloyd of Scotia; five sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Ogg of Grand Island, Major Phyllis Vanosdall of Omaha, Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Scotia, Mrs. Vivian York of Buena Vista, Colorado and Mrs. Eleanor Moore of Greeley; three grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
