Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 1, 1983 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Orlena Walker

Orlena T. Walker, the daughter of Stephen and Neoma (Jacobs) Pollard, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on February 27, 1891, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 30, 1983, at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 3 days.

Her childhood was spent in Aurora, where she received her education and attended the Aurora College.

On June 14, 1911, she was united in marriage to Marshall Ray Walker, at Aurora. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1981.

They farmed in Hamilton County for several years, and later lived in Fremont, Iowa, Arizona, and in 1973 they returned to Aurora. They raised two of her brothers children, Esther and Thelma Pollard.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Aurora.

Orlena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, John, Charles and Lester Pollard; 3 sisters, Lilly Mathews, Myrtle Splinter and Olive Storms; and two brothers and two sisters as children.

She is survived by one sister Mrs. Estella Kraus of Aurora, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
