Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 1994 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Hampton Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Florence Wall

Florence Esther Dorothea Wall, the daughter of August and Anna (Fenster) Dobberstein, was born near Hampton, Nebraska, on February 1, 1905, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 27, 1994, at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 26 days.

She grew up and attended Zion Lutheran School, near Hampton, and then worked as a housekeeper, and in her uncle Wm Mueller’s dry goods store.

On April 18, 1926, she was united in marriage to Herman Wall at Hampton. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1986. They resided in Hampton, and due to ill health she entered the Hamilton Manor in Aurora in 1981.

Florence was baptized on March 5, 1905, and confirmed on April 18, 1919, at Zion Lutheran Church, north of Hampton. She was a long time member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton, and belonged to the ladie’s aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Harold Dobberstein, and 2 sisters, Rose Dobberstein and Emma Bilsie.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Dennis Wall and his wife Beverly of Hampton, a daughter Janis Clark of Lincoln; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
