Rachel WallFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 10, 1991 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Hampton Cemetery. OBITUARY: Rachel Wall Rachel Marie Wall, the daughter of Theodore and Laura Alta (Condon) Fenster, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on September 30, 1914, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 7, 1991, at the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 7 days. She grew up at Hampton, and graduated from Hampton High School. On September 27, 1936, she was united in marriage to Walter Wall at Hampton. They lived in Hampton until 1942, when they moved to Aurora. She worked as a bookkeeper for the GAS Company form July 1, 1946 until she retired in July of 1976. She then worked as a bookkeeper part-time for Palmberg Auto Supply from July 1976 until 1988. Rachel was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton, and also belonged to the Jr. Women’s Club, Business and Professional Women’s Club, the Hospital Auxiliary and the Hamilton Manor Auxiliary, and the Aurora Women’s Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Dale and Wayne Fenster, and one infant brother. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Walt, of Aurora; one daughter Connie Wallingford and her husband James of York; 2 grandsons, James W. and Randy, both of York, and other relatives and close friends. |
