Jerold WaughFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 30, 1989 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Jerold Waugh Jerold Lee Waugh, the son of Vernon and Edna (Eversole) Waugh, was born at Osborne, Kansas, on May 27, 1941, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 28, 1989, at the age of 48 years, 7 months, and 1 day. He grew up and attended school in Osborne, Kansas, and held various jobs in Kansas, later moving to Nebraska, where he was employed by Schmader Electric in Grand Island, and Henderson Irrigation. In 1973 he came to Aurora. At the time of his death he was employed by the Nebraska Department of Roads. On May 25, 1974, he was united in marriage to Vickie Lynn Fenster at Central City. She preceded him in death on March 3, 1985. Jerry was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora, and had served in the National Guards, and was discharged in 1967. He was preceded in death by his father, wife Vickie, an infant daughter and one brother, Robert. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his daughter, Angela, at home in Aurora; one son, Bradley of Ft. Worth, Texas; 3 brothers, Everett of Osborne, Kansas, Jack of Missoula, Montana, and Lowell of Glenville; 8 sisters, Eliose Brack of Wichita, Kansas, Irene Snyder of Topeka, Kansas, Trudy Morgan of Hastings, Jane Linderman of Juniata, Glora Ann Thomas of Osborne, Kansas, Nellie Waits of Osborne, Kansas, Lucille Jacobe and Helen Priest, both of Red Cloud, and his mother, Edna Waugh of Osborne, Kansas. |
