Sharon Weir

Sharon Weir, age 62, of Henderson, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the Henderson Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 24th at the Mennonite Brethren in Henderson. Pastor J. Edward Epp will officiate. Interment will be in the Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to the church. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: SHARON WEIR

Sharon Rose Weir, the daughter of Cleo Duane May and Naomi Elizabeth (Markhum) Regier, was born in Lake City, Florida on October 2, 1946 and died in Henderson, Nebraska on March 21, 2009, at the age of 62.

She grew up in Belevidere, where she attended grade school. Sharon graduated from Geneva High School. She went onto graduate from CC after three years, with two degrees and one diploma in Commercial Horticulture.

Sharon worked as a nurse’s aide for over 15 years in Fairmont. Then Sharon worked in several restaurants for a total of 33 years, in Red Cloud and Hastings, before caring for her mother in Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Allen Kamler; granddaughter, Hope Danielle Tockey and brother, James Edward May.

Those left to cherish her memory are her five children, Paul Kamler, Jr. of Hastings, Mike (Belinda) Kamler of Hastings, Kevin (Jodi) Kamler of Hastings, Penny (Craig) Czarnek of Hastings and Kathy (Robert) Tockey of Fairfield; 16 grandchildren; brothers & step-brothers, David Allen (Loretta) May, Larry May, Robert Eugene May, Duane Regier and Daryl Regier.
