Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, October 9, 1984 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Giltner Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Allie West

Allie Nancy West, the daughter of Morrison and Alice (Bland) Huff, was born at Huntington, Missouri, on February 18, 1886, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on October 5, 1984, at the age of 98 years, 7 months and 17 days.

She grew up in Ralls County, Missouri, and on December 21, 1904, she was united in marriage to Russel Albert (Bert) West, at Center, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1970.

After their marriage they lived in Stockham, Murphy, and then moved to Giltner, where she lived for over 60 years. She had spent the last few months in nursing homes in Aurora.

Allie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Giltner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 1 son, Elvert West, 2 daughters, Viola Brown and Daisy Jemison, and one daughter in infancy.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are one son, Marvin West of Missoula, Montana; five daughters, Mrs. Mabel Eastman of Giltner, Mrs. Ruby Bish of Giltner, Mrs. Oneeta Bauer of Yucaipa, California, Mrs. Thelma Hadley of Concord, California and Mrs. Betty Derr of Giltner; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
