Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 14, 1995 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Stockham Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Edwin Willcock

Edwin DeForest Willcock, the son of Martin and Margaret (Beat) Willcock, was born August 30, 1927 at Stockham, Nebraska, and died August 10, 1995 at Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 10 days.

Edwin grew up and attended school at Stockham, where he graduated from high school in 1944. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy from August 20, 1945 to December 20, 1949. Following his discharge he moved to Omaha where he worked as a bookkeeper and clerk at the YMCA until his retirement in 1992.

He was a member of the American Legion in Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his father, one brother Ernest, and two sisters, Ellen Opfer and Eva Byrnes.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his mother Margaret Willcock of Aurora, and two brothers Elton of Hastings and Elvin of Falls Church, Virginia.
