Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, October 20, 1992 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Luella Williams

Luella Katherine Williams, the daughter of Eli and Freida (Ross) Yost, was born at Culbertson, Nebraska, on September 21, 1925, and died at Omaha, Nebraska, on October 15, 1992, at the age of 67 years, and 24 days.

She grew up in Minden, Nebraska, where she attended school, and the family moved to Aurora, where she graduated from Aurora High School with the class of 1943. The family they moved to California.

On November 9, 1946, she was united in marriage to Orville “Dick” Williams, at Sparks, Nevada, after he returned from overseas duty in the Army. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1990. They lived on the family farm, where they raised their family.

Luella was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, and belonged to the Aurora American Legion Auxiliary. She had also belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dick, and one brother Edward Yost.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters, Cheryl Derr of Denver, Colorado, and Cynthia Jo Williams of Omaha; one brother Dale Yost, 2 sisters, Marilyn Goyer and Gladys Jones all of California; 2 grandsons, David and Eric Derr, and one aunt, Martha Johnson.
