Arlo WilshusenGraveside Services were held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 17, 1990 at the Hampton Cemetery. OBITUARY: Arlo Wilshusen Former Aurora resident Arlo A. Wilshusen, 62, died April 11, 1990 in Panhandle, Texas. He was born on November 10, 1927, in Hampton to Ernest and Agnes (Ueckert) Wilshusen. He attended Hampton school and entered the United States Marines in 1945. After his discharge he returned and worked for Fowler Appliance in Aurora for a time and later started his own business known as Wilshusen Electirc which he operated for a number of years in Aurora. He then went to work for the Cornhusker Plant in Grand Island and was later transferred to the Mason Hanger-Silas Mason Co. located outside of Panhandle, Texas in 1973. He retired from there on January 3, 1990. At the time of his death he was a member and deacon of the First Christian Church in Panhandle. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Survivors include one son, Arlo E. Wilshusen of Aurora; two daughters, Kim Parker of Amarillo, Texas and Brenda Perea of Oceanside, California; one brother Harvey Wilshusen of Waynsboro, Virginia; three sisters, Dalores Boehmer of Dallas, Texas, Fern Bosau of Bounceton, Missouri and Pearl Sternburg of Schaumburg, Illinois; and five grandchildren. |
