Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, September 7, 1984 at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Lerton Cemetery in Giltner, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: DeRoy Wilson

DeRoy Jennings Wilson, the son of Martin J. and Olena (Danielson) Wilson, was born October 3, 1900 at Giltner, Nebraska, and passed away September 4, 1984, at Hastings, Nebraska, at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 1 day.

He attended country schools near Giltner, and graduated from Giltner High School.

On May 25, 1929, he was united in marriage to Wylda Springer at Aurora, Nebraska. After their marriage they farmed and from 1958 to 1969 he operated a farming operation with his son Don.

DeRoy was a member of the Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and 3 sisters, Mamie Kreutz, Agnes Sorensen and Grace Floyd.

Those who survive to mourn his passing are his wife, Wylda; one son Don of Giltner; daughter Marilyn Voss of Owatonna, Minnesota; one sister Mrs. Francs Jenkins of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren, and many other relatives and close friends.
