Lewis WilsonFuneral Services were held 3:00 P.M., Friday, August 18, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Lewis Wilson Lewis Claude Wilson, III, the son of Wirth and Daisy (Hursell) Wilson, was born at Ainsworth, Nebraska, on March 14, 1953, and passed away at Oakley, Kansas, on August 15, 1989, at the age of 36 years, 5 months, and 1 day. He grew up and attended school in Bassett, and worked as a ranch hand in the Bassett area. He later worked in Colorado on a ranch and in a lumber mill, and in December of 1983, he moved to Grand Island. In 1985, he moved to Aurora, and on May 18, 1985, he was united in marriage to Kristine Nichols, at Doniphan. After their marriage they lived in Aurora. In May of 1986 they moved to Doniphan, and in January of 1988 they moved north of Hampton, and in March of that year they moved to Aurora, where he worked for Morton Conoco, from July 1988 to January 1989, and then started working for the Huniata Feed Yards. Lewis was a member of the Eagles and the V.F.W. He was preceded in death by an infant brother. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Kristine, of Aurora; one son Trent of Mullen; 3 daughters, Debra, Jennifer and Jessica Wilson, all at home in Aurora; 6 brothers, Phillip of Saguache, Colorado, Hershel of Bassett, Alvin of Nolanville, Texas, Bobby of Ainsworth, and Lynn and Ray both of Bassett; 6 sisters, Wilma Lanz of Bassett, Lou Ann Samora of Alamosa, Colorado, Alta Kettleborough of Sargeant, Alice Rieken of Aurora, Vivian Thomas of Long Pine, and Ada Scott of Taylor; and his parents, Wirth Wilson of Grand Island and Daisy Rudolph of Aurora. |
