Lois WilsonFuneral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 5, 1983 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Lois Luella Wilson Lois L. Wilson, the daughter of Nathan and Luella Mock, was born at Clay Center, Nebraska on November 23, 1905. Her death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on November 2, 1983, at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 23 days. Her mother died when she was a small girl and she went to make her home with a sister at Arapahoe, later they moved to Silver Creek and then moved to a farm near Aurora. On January 1, 1927 she was united in marriage to George Wilson at Aurora. Twelve children were born to them. They resided in Aurora all their wedded life. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Her parents, three brothers, Alfred, Fred and Leonard Mock, sisters, Linnie Lofquist, Maude Wooden and Sid Boyd and one step-daughter, Elva Masten preceded her in death. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband; five sons, Robert of Omaha, Geral and Ronald of Aurora, James of Louisville, Colorado and John of Aurora; seven daughters, Luella Wieczorek of Grand Island, Iola Hayman of Amarillo, Texas, Shirley Wieczorek of Phillips, Sharon Alvis and Charlotte Mason both of Grand Island, Connie May of Hastings and Linda Modrel of McCook; 49 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; one stepson, George Wilson of Blair; two stepdaughters Faye McIntosh of Quincy, Illinois and Dorothy Legge of Seattle, Washington and other relatives and close friends. |
