Marie WolffFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 28, 1994 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Marie Wolff Florence Marie Wolff, the daughter of Ora and Adeline (Keller) Green, was born at Bradshaw, Nebraska, on December 12, 1905, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 25, 1994, at the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 13 days. She grew up and attended country school in the Monroe Precinct. On February 11, 1925, she was united in marriage to Glenn C. Wolff at Belleville, Kansas, and spent her married life in Hamilton County. Marie was a member of the United Brethren church at Richland, near Marquette, and later transferred to the Aurora United Methodist Church, where she was a 50 year member, and belonged to the Dorcas Circle. She was also a member of the S.O.S. Club and the Royal Neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, Earl, Loren, and Milburn Green; 4 sisters, Ruby Dyer, Eva Delaney, and Mabel and Mildred Green. Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Gerald and his wife Becky of Aurora, Lavern and his wife Carrolyne of Aurora; one daughter Maxine Hansen and her husband Bud of Hampton; one sister Darlene Lance of Fruitland Park, Florida; 8 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law, Mrs. Melburn Green of Lincoln, Mrs. Earl Green of Aurora, and Mrs. Earl Wiese of Grand Island, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. |
