Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Inez Wright

Inez Gail Wright, the daughter of Charles and Martha (Sharp) Jemison, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 25, 1901, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 28, 1997, at the age of 96 years, 5 months, and 3 days.

She grew up near Giltner, and graduated from Giltner High School. Following graduation, she taught country school in the Giltner area.

On July 4, 1920, she was united in marriage to Oliver Wright at Giltner. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1955. After their marriage they lived in Palmer and in 1941, they moved to Tacoma, Washington. Later they returned to Nebraska, and lived in Auburn and Lincoln.

Following her husband’s death she worked in sales in Lincoln at Golds and Miller & Paine. In 1988 she moved to Aurora to be near her daughter, and for the past two years she has resided at the Memorial Community Care in the Memorial Hospital in Aurora.

She loved her flower garden and belonged to several Flower Clubs.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Earl and LeRoy Jemison, and one sister Agnes Schrock.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her daughter, Gail Scott and her husband Claude of Aurora; two sisters, Caroline Nydegger and Jean Jemison, both of Aurora; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
