Clarence YagerFuneral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 9, 1979 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held at the Harvard Cemetery. OBITUARY: Mr. Clarence Yager Clarence Yager, the son of John and Katherine Green Yager was born near Harvard, Nebraska on July 4, 1906. His death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on April 6, 1979 at the age of 72 years 9 months and 2 days. His childhood was spent on his parent’s farm and he received his education in the rural school district near their home. He later, went farming on his own and farmed in the Trumbull vicinity for several years. In 1972 he left the farm and moved to Hastings, where he resided until the fall of 1978 when he returned to Harvard. Clarence was a member of the Evangelical Untied Brethren Church in Harvard for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. His survivors include one brother, Reuben Yager of Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Shonkwiler of Aurora and Mrs. Edna Hamburger of York, Nebraska; one niece, Mrs. Darlene Keasling of Aurora; one nephew, Kenneth Hamburger of York, several grand nieces and nephews and other relatives and close friends. |
