Memorial Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 7, 1989 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. Inurnment was held in the Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, Nebraska.

OBITUARY: Robert Young

Robert Cornell Young, the son of James and Beatrice (Cornell) Young, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska, on December 30, 1930, and passed away at Kronborg, Nebraska, on June 30, 1989, at the age of 58 years and 6 months.

He worked as a self-employed computer repairman for Silas-Mason-Hanger in Grand Island.

He served in the infantry during the Korean Conflict, from 1948 to 1952.

On November 10, 1954, he was united in marriage to Nellie M. Chase, in Manilla, Philippines.

He was baptized in the Grace Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Robert is survived by his wife Nellie of Kronborg; her son, Anthony Backus and his son Christopher of Phillips; a sister Jane Steele of Presque Isle, Michigan, a nephew and 2 nieces.
